Versions:
Ruqola 2.7.0, developed by KDE e.V., is a full-featured desktop client for Rocket.Chat that brings the open-source team-communication platform natively to Windows. Designed for organizations that rely on Rocket.Chat for internal collaboration, the application provides unified access to direct messages, group channels, discussion rooms, and the newer Teams rooms while preserving the server-side autotranslate, emoji, GIF, and threaded-message capabilities. Users can operate several Rocket.Chat accounts in parallel, search message history even when offline thanks to a local message store, and manage notifications, attachments, mentions, and pinned items from a single interface. Administrators obtain an embedded control panel through which they can add or remove users and roles, configure rooms, adjust OAuth, retention, encryption and file-upload policies, inspect server logs, and export channel archives without leaving the client. Security options include TOTP and e-mail two-factor authentication, OTR for encrypted private conversations, and the ability to block or unblock contacts, while convenience extras such as drag-and-drop image sharing, reply-from-notification, auto-away status, and text auto-correction streamline day-to-day workflows. The software is available for free on get.nero.com, with downloads provided via trusted Windows package sources (e.g. winget), always delivering the latest version, and supporting batch installation of multiple applications.
